I used a photocopy machine in Crysis2., and the game became really weird. why?

the floor disappeared, invisible barriers came up, and my gun's color changed to some kind of psychedelic color. when injured red squares appeared in my targeting reticle, and this took place in a brand new, limited edition copy, which was completely original.
