I wouldn't expect you'd be entitled to it back. How is it your employer's fault you got sick? This kind of rule would be ripe for abuse constantly (anyone with a doctor friend would go on vacation and then bring in a note sying they were sick and get extra vacation), which is why it likely doesn't exist.
